Here in Raleigh visiting with Louise's cousins, who made us some fantastic Carolina-style barbecue last night. Yesterday we had a pleasant but long drive here from the outer banks. We took US264, which is a very empty road east of Washington, NC, traveling, as it does, through the wetlands. The western half, coming into Raleigh, is a relatively new freeway.
We were fortunate to find an empty lot on which to park last night, just half a block from the cousins' house. Sort of urban-guerilla-camping...
