They say you can calculate the ambient temperature knowing only the length of the cat. George is stretched out to 36". What is the temperature?

  1. That's a metric cat, right? So it must be 36 degrees Celsius. That's 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Hot, hot, hot!

  2. You are correct that she is a metric cat, but the actual temperature was 92 deg F. I can't figure out where the 5 degree loss is happening. Is there an adjustment due to latitude or length of daylight hours?
